Why We Are Different

Mother Lode Adventist Junior Academy exists to bring out the best in your child.  We believe that God’s ideal for each student is higher and greater than we could imagine.  When we understand the value that has been placed on each one of us, through the life and death of Jesus Christ, we become free to learn, to love, and to eventually lead others.

We aspire to develop students who are balanced academically, socially, physically AND spiritually.   The successful pursuit of academic excellence cannot be fostered independent of our physical, social and spiritual needs.   We are educating a whole person.   Our program is well rounded offering students the social and spiritual environment to think through whom they are and what type of impact they want to make on our world.  We recognize that students who are healthy perform better in the classroom; so all students are taught health and fitness.  Our students learn more than to just mimic answers back on a test.  They learn to think powerful thoughts of their own, not just reflect the thoughts of their teachers and classmates.
